About Unicycle Creative and Lorne Craig

Where Lorne gets his ideas.

Unicycle is a marketing creative proprietorship dedicated to moving environmental and socially sustainable business forward. On a unicycle, there is no coasting. Only dynamic balance, constantly adapting to change. Leaving behind just one small track on the earth.

On Lorne Craig: After 20+ years in advertising, I’ve worked on everything from national TV and radio to outdoor, web sites, print collateral, promotions, coupons and Ninjas. I’ve done brainstorming, corporate visioning, branding, design, copywriting, art direction, photography, illustration, painting, photoshop and video. I’ve won some creative awards and more importantly, achieved business results for my clients.

And yes, I can unicycle, although not as well as I do that other stuff.

    Hi Lorne,
I am currently compiling research on corporate social responsibility and, more specifically, the consumer side of the equation. As opposed to looking at who’s doing what – which company is the greenest and which should be shunned – I thought it would be wiser and more insightful to look at what consumers really make of this trend and if it all really matters.
I would love to speak to someone who is well versed on the subject matter and, as such, I was wondering if it would be possible to conduct an interview with you. I just read your article in Marketing Magazine and would love to hear more from you.
I would appreciate if you would contact me so that I could further explain my intentions, and get a better understanding of your opinion.
Thank you very much for your consideration.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. It’s certainly a lot of fun to keep writing about this stuff, and keeping green marketing relevant during these economic times will be especially important, I think.

How come you can’t coast on a unicycle?

  • 10 admin // Oct 20, 2009 at 1:04 am

Well, some people sort of can. The pedals are fixed, though, so that means you have to lift your feet and control the wheel by placing the sole of your shoe on it. Check out his gal: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_vsP_06kOs
